Children at 91国产自拍Policy

1. Purpose

To ensure the safety of children of 91国产自拍staff and students and to ensure staff and students are not disadvantaged because of their caring responsibilities.


2. Scope

This policy applies to all 91国产自拍employees and students with parent/caring responsibilities.


3. Principles

3.1 91国产自拍will reasonably consider requests from staff and students to bring their child into the work and teaching environment and will balance the request with health and safety requirements of the area and the rights of others in the work environment.

3.2 91国产自拍recognises that many staff have a range of needs when managing work, study and family responsibilities and there may be occasions when it is necessary to bring a child or children into the work and teaching environments at CIT.

3.3 91国产自拍staff will be given priority placement for long day care at Reid Children's Centre, located at 91国产自拍Reid and Bruce Early Childhood Centre, located at 91国产自拍Bruce and the Woden Child Care Centre located at the Woden Town Centre.

3.4 Parents/carers are responsible for the supervision of their child/children at all times while at CIT.

3.5 Parents/carer are responsible for the child's behaviour and safety and must follow 91国产自拍requirements on restricted access and hazardous areas at all times.

3.6 Children under the supervision of their parent/carer can be at 91国产自拍in general community areas.

3.7 91国产自拍will take all reasonably practicable steps to eliminate or effectively control hazards to children on 91国产自拍grounds and in accessible areas of 91国产自拍buildings.

3.8 Children with an infectious disease are not permitted at 91国产自拍campuses at anytime.

7. Procedures

This policy is implemented through the associated procedures in the Workplace Health and Safety Procedures Manual. The policy owner has the authority to make changes to the procedures.
